Whilst working as a teacher in central London, Andrea released 3 limited edition EP’s and played open mic nights. She quit that teaching job in 2007 to concentrate on her music, headed to Nashville and recorded her debut album, Stood Under Stars which won critical acclaim and the seal of approval from Radio 2’s Bob Harris.
Andrea approached us on Twitter, after seeing the work we had worked on for other artists, to ask us if we could create her website for her. Of course we said yes! She wanted a website that reflected her background and personality and that is what we gave her. Using a distinctive design, the website uses beer mats designed and created by Andrea herself that feature her famous red boots and dog, Java.
Around the time of building her website, Andrea saw a post we made about Suffolk-based artist, Natasha Newton. She looked at Natasha’s website, loved her work as much as we do and went onto purchase one of the paintings she saw. In 2013, Andrea asked us to design the artwork for her second album, Party of One, using Natasha’s lovely painting. Not wishing to distract too much from the beautiful artwork we kept the design simple and everyone involved loves the finished packaging.
