Aidan O’Rourke is fiddle player with acclaimed folk trio, Lau, who we have been working with for a couple of years.
His 2013 album, Hotline, is a suite music inspired by the cable landing station for TAT-1, the first submarine telephone transatlantic cable, which carried the Moscow-Washington hotline between the American and Soviet heads of state, as a feat of engineering, and the feelings Aidan had growing up on the Argyll coast with the knowledge of the area’s significant link to the Cold War.
Having liked our work we had done for Lau and other http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/mans-health/ Reveal records artists, we were asked to come up with a design for the album that reflected it’s Cold War theme and especially Soviet propaganda posters. It was a great project to work on, forcing us to research a different design style. The finished CD has a lot of impact.
Having completed the CD design, Aidan asked us to design a website with the same strong colours and themes. View the website here…
